COFMG welcomes thoughtful citation of publicly available materials across the ecosystem. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure accurate attribution and appropriate use.

Before You Cite: Learn What Requires Permission

Citing publicly available content created and owned by Carry On Friends Media Group, including Carry On Friends, Reels & Riddims, Voice Note Stories and officially published COFMG models/frameworks and articles, does not require prior permission, provided proper attribution is used.

This does not extend to:

Client productions created by Breadfruit Media® for third-party organizations
Podcasts or media properties listed in the Caribbean Podcast Directory
Any content not owned or published directly by Carry On Friends Media Group

Third-party creators retain their own citation and permissions policies.

However, the following uses require prior written permission:

Interviewing Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown for academic research.
Using proprietary models/frameworks, including the Caribbean Diaspora Experience Model (CDEM), as a primary subject of study.

Voice Note Stories is a scripted audio fiction series created by Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown. Cite individual episodes as audio fiction, not as podcast episodes.
Carry On Friends Narrative Episodes are story-driven episodes featuring multiple voices in a narrative format. These are non-interview episodes that center personal stories, cultural memory, or community experience.

The Caribbean Podcast Directory (CPD) is an original curated database of Caribbean and Caribbean diaspora podcasts, created and maintained by Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown / Breadfruit Media.

It is a separate platform from Carry On Friends and has its own citation and permission requirements.

What belongs to Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown is the directory itself: its structure, organization, categorization, curation criteria, and the database as a whole.
