About The #CAHMSeries
June is National Caribbean American Heritage Month (CAHM). To celebrate the month, I partnered up with my good friend Mikelah of Styleandvibes.com to present to you the #CAHMSeries.
The #CAHMSeries is a 5 part video series where we interview five amazing women on aspects of the Caribbean American experience from an entrepreneurial and the Caribbean cultural perspective. The questions that focus on entrepreneurship will be featured on Carry On Friends; and Styleandvibes.com will feature the questions focused on the Caribbean Culture.
All the Carry On Friends videos in the series can be found here.

About Georgie-Ann
Georgie-Ann is no stranger to Carry On Friends. Last month she was a guest on the podcast where she discussed the challenges of finding your way as an entrepreneur. That episode and a lot of what Georgie-Ann said about the Caribbean family’s impact on being an entrepreneur struck a cord with many listeners. The reaction came from text messages, emails, Facebook and Twitter. See one of the reactions below:

Georgie-Ann represents the island of Jamaica and she’s the founder of Illicit Mind, a company that helps entrepreneurs maneuver their way through the entrepreneurial ecosystem. They focus on entrepreneurs who don’t fit into the societal characteristics of an “average entrepreneur”; specifically people of color, women and immigrants. Their mission is to increase the success rate of new diverse entrepreneurs.
Georgie-Ann is also the founder of Caribbeans In Tech an Illicit Mind initiative whose mission is to develop, educate and create allies for Caribbeans in Technology.
