Wukkout and get moving at home
I’ll admit that it’s challenging to put in any form of consistent work out now that I’m working full time from home, caring for a 2 year-old, and all the things concerning remote learning of an 8 year old. Weight aside, I just don’t have energy or stamina I use to have.
In this episode, Krista and I discuss the importance of maintaining basic functional movement as part of our daily lives.
What’s basic? Squats aren’t just to firm up the glutes – it’s a basic exercise to help with sitting and standing up.
Working out can include dancing to your favorite song. Heyyyyy, bussing a wine to your favorite song a couple times a day is the kinda movement I like!
Krista Martins is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, professional choreographer and founder of Wukkout!® – a high energy soca-based dance fitness experience designed to get you out of your head, into your body, and make you have fun, sweat, and let loose just like you would at a Caribbean Carnival.
