Marlon Anguin on the cutting edge of technology and sports on Carry On Friends The Caribbean American Podcast

Leading Technology & Sports with Marlon Anguin

Jamaican born Marlon Anguin, is an engineer leading a product team at Verizon with a focus primarily on sports and technology.

On today’s episode we take a dive into technology developments and where the Caribbean and the rest of the world match up.

He explained 5G, or as he calls it, the fourth industrial revolution and his team at Verizon partnership with the NFL to produce an innovative, technological, in and out of stadium fan experience due to Covid-19, for this years’ Superbowl. He takes us on a journey of enhancing the fan experience and the ability to relive those highlight moments fans live for.

We touched points on how impactful these developments will be once available in the Caribbean, not only for sports focused events but entertainment on a whole. Technology definitely is the way forward and we both agreed the diaspora can play a vital part in the development of better technology options in the Caribbean.
