How Can I Serve My Community?

How can I truly serve my community?  Knowing that not everyone’s call to service is the same. What does service to the community look like to in a time like this?

The Caribbean is a fragile region troubled not only with geological events such as the earthquake in Haiti and the recent Volcanic eruption in St. Vincent & The Grenadines but the Caribbean is the most susceptible to climate change – rising temperatures and rising sea levels. And we see this play out because rescue efforts in Haiti from the earthquake are in jeopardy because of the busy Atlantic hurricane season, Haiti is in the project path of a storm

So let’s continue to have the discussion about how can we best serve our community when they are hit with natural disasters? And going beyond that what is our role in serving our community when it comes to long term climate change and other activities to protect our fragile ecosystem and environment?
